For Rachel, honey was never just an ingredient; it was part of her childhood. Growing up with a father who was a dedicated beekeeper, she spent her early years surrounded by the gentle hum of bees, the scent of wild blossoms, and the quiet magic of nature’s most extraordinary gift. She learned firsthand how precious real honey is, how much care it demands, and how deeply it connects people to the land.

Years later, while experimenting in her kitchen, Rachel blended the pure honey she grew up loving with a touch of chili heat. What started as a playful idea became something unforgettable, a perfect balance of sweetness and spice that instantly won over friends, family, and chefs.

Word spread quickly. What began as a small passion project evolved into Rachel’s Hot Honey, crafted with the same respect for nature and quality that her father taught her as a child.

We partner with trusted European beekeepers, source high-quality chili varieties, and produce every batch with precision, care, and transparency. Each bottle reflects both tradition and innovation, a tribute to where Rachel comes from and where we’re going.

​As demand grew, the support from our customers encouraged Rachel to take the next bold step. With this trust behind us, we are now preparing a new, state-of-the-art production facility in Steenwijk.
Before the end of Q1 2026, our capacity will reach up to 5 million bottles a year, allowing us to meet growing demand while staying true to the craftsmanship and purity that define Rachel’s Hot Honey.
